About this Talk

The word "retirement" does not occur often with me. I prefer to say "rewirement" ~ it has such a positive ring!

If we are fortunate, we may live a long life. In my younger years, I really did not pay much attention to ageing other than to care for my parents. Now, as I approach 80, thoughts about getting older are always with me. But not necessarily in a negative way. If you have a dream about what you might do in your later years, don't let go of it. Take a chance and make it happen. My talk is about writing but the same philosophy may be applied to any dream. You are never too old to take a chance and make it come true. Trust me!

ProAge Woman Alliance

I began my work on Instagram in 2015 using fashion as symbolic of women wearing and being whatever and whoever they want to be. I've transitioned a few times. In 2022, I began publishing a digital magazine for women 50 plus and I am continuing to build a global community for proaging women.

Art Wear Chic

Lorraine creates original resin and acrylic pour art in vibrant colours and showcases her art internationally. These designs are transformed into wearable art. Lorraine believes art should be accessible to everyone. So wear art on the streets! All the wearable art is created and produced in Canada.
